For one of the most, adventurous honeymoons ever indulged in, credit must be given to Lord and Lady Stanley, of Alderley, who have just come to London from Montreal. Lady Stanley, who is only just 21, went to the bottom of the ocean in a diver's suit, with the big helmet, through which air is pumped. This adventure was off Bermuda, the lirst port of call in the long trip, across Mexico, to California, Berkeley, and the Wild W est of Canada.

In order to raise scry necessary funds for All Saints’ Children’s home, an enthusiastic committee of young ladies has organised a dance to take place in the Cosmopolitan hall on Friday, July 29. With Misses P. Abraham and E. Thirtlc as joint secretaries that is an assurance that everything possible will be arranged for the enjoyment of patrons. There will be bridge for the non-dancers, but it will be necessary to ring one of the secretaries to make certain of a table being reserved. Creighton’s “Jolly Boys” will contribute the brightest dance numbers and with the ladies’ committee of All -Saints’ Children’s Home in charge of the supper arrangements, nothing will be overlooked in that department. All this enjoyment may be had for the modest sum of 2s Gd.
