Convicts' Dramatic Dash for Liberty
BANK ROBBER FATALLY SHOT. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, July 22. Peterhead prison, from which nobody has ev£r completely escaped, was the scene of a dash for liberty by three convicts, of whom George Kynocli, a Scottish bank robber, serving eight years, was fatally shot. All three broke away while working in the prison quarries. Two were captured after a three-mile chase.
