Christchurch Returned Soldiers to Benefit
BALANCE OF BRIDGE OF REMEMBRANCE FUNDS Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The sum of £430 will fall to the Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association and an equal sum to the Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society as a result of a decision made at a meeting of contributors to the Bridge of Remembrance funds this evening, to devote the balance of the fund towards the relief of distress among Christchurch returned soldiers and their dependents.
