Federal Relief Bill Signed by Mr Hoover
HUGE PLAN NOW BECOMES LAW New York Times Broadcast. WASHINGTON, July 22. President Hoover signed into Jawyesterday the gigantic Federal Relief Plan that masses 11,800,000,000 dollars in one coffer for invigorating business, increasing employment and relieving destitution in the United States.
In his report to the committee at its meeting last evening, tlio Manawatu Automobile Association service officer. Mr. V. Crichton, stated that he had adjusted quite a number of headlights on members’ cars, while quite a number of members had taken advantage of the advanced driving tuition. Members appreciated the work the association was doing in the interests of the safety first principle.
