CHILDREN CAPTURE THIEF
TOLD “NOT TO DO IT AGAIN” Two children captured a thief in their home recently and then let him go, on his promise “not to do it again.” The children, Zoe Fessenden, 11, and her brother Teddy, 10, were at play across the street from their home when they saw someone turn on a light in their third-floor apartment. Pacing home they found a youth of ID hiding behind a living-room door. Assured he had not taken anything, Zoe refused to search the youth, and let him go, saying:— “I believe you. If you’ll promise never to do this again I’ll put you on your honour and let you go, and I won’t tell the police.”
