Control of Broadcasting in Australia
COMMISSION ANNOUNCED United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Monday, 9.0 p.m. CANBERRA, May 23. The personnel of the new Broadcasting Commission is announced. It comprises Mr. C. Lloyd Jones (chairman), Mr. Herbert Brookes (vice-chairman), Mr. R. Br Orchard, Professor R. Wallace and Mrs. Couchman. They will control the broadcasting programmes of the A class stations from July 1.
