The factory’s output show's an increase of 30 tons over any other season. Members of the Wairakei Rifle Club held,a shoot on Saturday for tho McGregor Cup. Shooting conditions wer® good, and J. Dcihl, consolations Mrs. Pagan and Mr. G. Kreger; euchre, Miss D. Collie and Master Bob Fankhauser, consolations Miss C. Young and Mr. A. Hoskin. The senior football team, playing at Waituna on Saturday afternoon, after a hard and fast game was successful in winning by 16 points to eight. Tries we.ro scored by S. Ramsay, D. Saywell and J. Martin. Mr. A. Shannon ably controlled the game. At Apiti, the Rangiwahia juniors drew with the home team, three points all.
