Will Not Participate in Forthcoming Olympiad
FINLAND’S THREAT IF NURMI DISQUALIFIED New' York Times Broadcast HELSINGFORS, April 20. Finland undoubtedly will not participate in the Los Angeles Olympic Games if the International Amateur Athletic Federation disqualifies Paavo Nurmi, famous long-distance runner, Paavo Parikko, secretary of the Finnish Athletic Association, has announced. The runner, holder of six world’s records, is under temporary suspension pending investigation of his status as an amateur.
