Kitchen Tea for a Bride-elect
On the eve of the approaching marriage of Aliss Gladys Lutze, of Kiinboltou, a kitchen tea was held in her honour at the home of Air. and Mrs. W. Noffkc, when a number of friends gathered for the occasion. Parlour games were played, after which the bride-to-be was called upon to open the parcels of useful articles destined for the kitchen. The company joined in the singing of “For They Arc Jolly Good Fellows.” Air. Hodge responded on behalf of Aliss Lutze, thanking one and all for the kindness extended, good wishes and presents. A dainty and enjoyable afternoon tea terminated the pleasant gathering.
