• VETERANS’ VASE CHANGES HANDS. The Veterans’ Vase which, has been in the possession of the Northern Club for some time changed hands this week. Palmerston North were the challengers and the game was most interesting throughout. On the 20th. head the teams were 20 all, but Palmerston North W'on the coveted trophy by lying 2 up on the iinal head. The teams were: Palmerston North: Aiken, Brookic, Holdaway, Laker (s.). Northern: Johnson, Hodder, Palmer, Robinson (s.).
