“ To-day ”
A most interesting publication is “To-day,” a fortnightly news magazine, incorporating “Stead’s.” It adopts the striking innovation of printing news items and contents lists on the cover. It is published in Sydney, and is under the competent editorship of Mr. E. G. Knox. Its purposo is to treat in a non-technieal but authoritative manner politics, economics, iinancc and foreign intelligence. “To-day” is a combination of a newspaper and a review. It embodies authoritative sections on finance, the cinema, books, medicine, education, sport and art; and contains a good deal of anecdotal and personal matter of unusual interest. A very popular section should be the pages devoted to a brief statement, with elucidation, of the foreign news of the fortnight, Tanged according to country
