PALMERSTON NORTH VISITORS BEAT WOODVILLE hTe annual friendly game between the Campbell Street Old Boys (Palmerston North) and Woodville Hockey Clubs was played yesterday afternoon on the Woodviflo recreation ground, which was in excellent condition for hockey. After a well-contested game, in which the visiting forwards dominated the greater part of the play, Woodville lost by three goals to seven. Messrs. Mills (Palmerston North) and Foreman (Woodville) controlled the game. The visitors were entertained after the match, Mr. Inkpen extending a welcome to the Palmerston North players and expressing pleasure in renewing friendships with old comrades. Messrs. Milne and Robinson returned thanks on behalf of C. 0.8. Club.
