Newman Brilliant; Lindrum Below Form
Received Wednesday, 9.50 p.m. MONTREAL, April 19. Brilliant play by Newman was a feature of to-day’s exhibition billiards with Lindrum. The Australian was below his usual form and is suffering from Jumbago. At the end of the day’s play the scores were Newman (received 3000) 7028 and Lindrum 1319.
