LADY BLEDISLOE REPEATS REQUEST. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Last year there was published at the request of her Excellency Lady Bledisloe a paragraph to the effect that while she deeply appreciated the courtosy of those who, following an old-established and indeed graceful custom, have presented her with bouquets on her visits to institutions or arrival at various functions, she would prefer that during the prevailing period of financial stringency arising from economic adversity the custom should be allowed to fall into disuetude. As, however, the custom has been discontinued only to a limited extent her Excellency desires to announce again that she would feel relieved if in all cases where the presentation of bouquets to her may be contemplated she might, while grateful for the kind thought, be allowed to accept tbe will for the deed.
