Concert in Aid of Willard Home
A concert in aid of Willard Home funds will bo given to-morrow evening in St Andrew’s Memorial hall at 8 p.in. The programme, which is being arranged for the Women’s Christian Temperance Union by Mrs. T. Young, of Fitzhcrbcrt, promises to be a very good one. Some children of l'itzherbert, trained by Mrs. Young, will give several recitations, and a playette, entitled “Mary Ann’s Sickness,” composed by Mrs. E. Bowler Watson. The children will bo assisted by the following local artists: Misses Pcnketh, Clark, Boon, Wood, Tucker, Pollard, Plummer, Myra Reid, Doreen Saunders, and Mr. D. Spring. The aecompaniste will be Miss R. Burton. A good evening’s entertainment is promised to all who attend, and for tho very modes sum of ono shilling. It is hoped the Willard Homo funds will benefit considerably by this effort.
