Mr George Richardson also spoke of the high esteem in which she was held by a large circle of friends to whom she had ever extended the greatest kindness and hospitality. He then, on-behalf of those present, wished her many happy returns of her birthday, and invited all to join with him in drinking her health, winch was done with ltiusical honours. A particularly dainty supper was enjoyed, and the beautifully iced and decorated birthday cake that centred the table was much admired.
