New Swimming Records
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A now Dominion swimming record for tho intermediate girls’ 75 yards was made in the tepid baths this evening by Miss Mona Leydon, whose time, 49 1-5 sec., bettered by 0 2-5 sec. the previous standard set by MiSs Piri Page in 1924. Mifcs Marie Farquhar, national lady champion, created a record for the 200 metres back-stroke, taking 3.14 4-5.
