Censorship of News
TO PREVENT ALARMIST REPORTS Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. In order to prevent alarmist reports being sent to overseas newspapers of unemployment - disturbances the New Zealand Government has decided to enforce the provisions of the postal regulations empowering a censorship of messages handed for transmission abroad.
