New Zealander’s Success
Cabled advice from England that Aliss Elizabeth Gregory, lecturer in chemistry of food and nutrition in the home science department of the University of Otago, has passed the examination for the degree of Ph. D. at the University of London. Aliss Gregory '■was admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Home Science in 1924, and to fhe degree of Alaster of Home Science SXI 1929. She was appointed assistant in 'the chemistry department in 1925, and granted leave of absence to go to London in August 1929, where she enrolled a candidate for the Ph. D. degree at University College under the direction 'of Professor Drummond.
