Charged With Child Murder
ARREST AT UPPER HUTT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 16. Horace Frank Livermore, alias Johnston, was arrested early this morning and charged at the Police Court to-day with the murder of the child, Vera Forster, at Upper Hutt, yesterday. On the application of sub-inspec-tor Ward he was remanded till April 22nd. Livermore was detained soon after the discovery of the child’s hoi-Jir and -iioi- --u wibli tho murder at 2 a.m. He was brought to Wellington by the detectives and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court before Mr T. B. McNeil, S.M. He is a single man and was -employed by Mr Forster as a labourer. He tma u-0,-, living with the Forsters since September last. Mr Forster keeps a poultry farm end -’""loved by Mr J, T. Benge. The murdered child is tii° vounge®t of four, there being another daughter and two sons.
