Benzine Siphoners Caught in the Act
EXCITEMENT IN BUNNYTHOKPE To bo caught helping themselves was bad enough, but the culprits then failed to outstay their pursuers in a race across country, and they will appear in due course to explain to a Magistrate why they tried to siphon benzine out of a car belonging to a Bunnythorpe resident last evening. From information to hand it appears that a car drove into Bunnythorpe during the early part of the ovening. Two men got out and went over to another car which was standing outside a store. The men were noticed to be siphoning benzine from tho tank, and when accosted they made off across tho paddocks. They were overtaken, however, and held until the arrival of the police, who took them in charge.
