Attempted Theft Denied
LABOURER REMANDED Charged with the attempted theft at Palmerston North on April 14 of benzine,. the property of Colin Bergcrson, Roy William Spencer, with four aliases, a iabourer aged 32 years, pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Mr. J.
L. Stout, S.M., at the Palmerston North .Magistrate's Court yesterday. On accused entering his plea throug Mr. Laurenson, the Magistrate said that there would have to be some statement of the amount of benzino, and the wise was adjourned until to-day to enable the police to amplify the charge. Accused was allowod bail in his own recognisance of £SO, with one surety of a like amount.
