Group Discussion at Business Girls’ Lunch
Slombcrs of the Business Girls’ Lunch Club found pleasing diversion at their fortnightly lunch at Slessrs. Collinson and Cunninghame's on Thursday, when the programme included group discussions. The subject chosen wrns “Should ono always speak frankly.” The group leaders were Misses Penkcth, Royal, Stairs and Devlin, and the result of the discussion created much amusement, the members expressing tho hope that there would be more opportunities for these lively discussions. Miss Gumming was welcomed as a new member, and apologies for absence wore received on behalf of Mcsdamcs Abraham, Royal, Oram and Mansford, and Misses Ashton, Bates, Rennctt, Hodson, Howard, Bruce and Elley. Miss Grant presided, and before the business of the meeting commenced a motion of sympathy with Mrs. Parsons and Miss Dorothy Parsons in their sad bereavement was passed in the usual way.
