Poppy Day Appeal
(To the Editor.) Sir, —May I through your valuable columns make my annual appeal to the public for a continuation of their generosity in promoting and assisting in tho sale of poppies to-day? The funds raised by this means, apart from the sentiment surrounding the emblem, havo been gratefully received by those for whoso benefit tfey arc administered. Tho whole of tlie proceeds are utilised for the benefit of ex-scr-vico men, and the subscription is sufficiently small to be within tho ability of all to mako a contribution. —I am, etc., B. J.
