Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report having a very fair yarding of sheep and .cattle and a small entry of pigs at tho Aslihurst sale on Wednesday last. There was animated competition for sheep, and cattle sold at late rates, but pigs wero hard to quit. Quotations: — Sheep: Fat lambs, 1-1/3, 13/6; ewe

Southdown rams, 9/10; Syr. ewes r.w. Southdown rams, 7/6. Cattle: Forward cows, 20/, 25/; light fat cows, 37/, £2; empty cows, 10/, 31/, 15/, 16/, 20/; small wcaner heifers, 7/6, 9/, 10/, 12/6; wcaner steers, S/; bulls, 17/6, 25/. Pigs: Slips. 6/, 7/6.
