planning of events in this programme. Any protest much reach the Seeretry, accompanied by a fee of ss, within ten minutes after tho event. Deposit to be forfeited if the protest is found to be frivolous. Three starters or no first prize; flvo starters or no second prize; six starters or no third prize. All prizes in Highland Events paid in cash. First, second and third prizes paid in all Highland Events. All nominations for post entries to bo in tho hands of the Secretary fifteen minutes before the event takes place. All competitors must pay at gates. Entrance money refunded to competitors in Athletic Events only, on production of registration certificate and registered number. All competitors for handicap events must be registered members of Clubs, run in Club colours, with registered number on singlet. Tho Handicapper will hold the right to re-handicap any event on tho day of the meeting. Competitors in Chopping Events should be registered members of the N.Z. Athletic, Axemen, and Cycling Union (Inc.). Registration may bo obtained on the day from the Secretary. All nominations must be accompanied with performances for tho past two years.
