Medical Ban in France
The Trench Senate has passed a law under which any; foreign doctor praeaising in Trance will have to become a naturalised Trenchman. Exception will be made in the case of doctors belonging to a country where Trench doctors are allowed to practice, in this case the number of such doctors will be limited to the number of Trench doctors practising in the country concerned.
Dr. Alfred Cox, Medical Secretary of the British Medical Association, lately stated that very few British doctors would be affected by the new law. Every foreign doctor wishing to practice in Trance was obliged to requalify at a Trench medical school, taking the examinations in the Trench language he said. This rule had effectively discouraged all but a very few British doctors from establishing Trench practices. Those few were concontrat.ed on the Biviera and in Paris.
