The Present Money System
To the Editor. Sir, —With many others, I have Tcad the letters of Mr. P. B. Eitzhcrbert in your popular paper. Ho has shown us tho causes and effects of our past and present money systems, as well as their rights and wrongs. Now, I think it is up to Mr. Fitzherbert to call together the elect of Palmerston North and New Zealand to find ways and means to carry on our national life today, without touching upon tho present money value and its systems; in fact, to create a now’ form of exchange, as the jiresent forms havo become corroded with rust, which has killed their usefulness. The Old Scribe states that tho Son of Man will create all things new; almost everything but money has been re-created. We have been forced to believe this by our spiritual leaders, and by nature we look for its fulfilment. Watching for this move, that I may be in it, I am, etc., H. E. COLES.
