Liner Puls Back to Wellington
TROUBLE WITH TURBINES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Shortly after the Federal liner Westroroland cleared the heads for New Plymouth at 4. o’clock this afternoon, trouble -was experienced with the starboard turbines, and the Union Company’s tug Terawhiti proceeded to the heads and accompanied the Westmoreland back to the wharf, which was reached at 7 to-nigiit. It is thought that the turbine is stripped. Repairs will be effected hero and it is hoped will be completed by Monday.
