Breaking and Entering Admitted
TWO YOUNG MEN COMMITTED TOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. Two young men, Alfred John Scrivens, aged 24, single, an unemployed carpenter, and John Burman Barns, 24, single, a cleaner until recently employed on the Railways, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to breaking and entering Luxford’s store at Wanganui East, and theft, and being in possession of an instrument for house-breaking. Barns also pleaded guilty to receiving goods knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. Accused were committed to tho Supreme Court at Wanganui for sentence.
