PERSONALITIES
Mr, H. Bosanowski, of Wellington, is spending a few days in Palmerston North and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. Bosanowski, of Taoitui street. The death occurred in Wellington yesterday of Mr. Eichard Septimus Bouthw-aite, aged 77, city engineer to Wellington from 1899 to 1904. The death is announced by cable from Paris of General Pau, the noted French soldier, in his 85th year. He was a member of the Council of War. and was in command of the Alsace Army in 1914. Ho was the chief of several Missions from France to Allied countries during the war. Evans, Miss Roll', Mr. and Mrs. C. Nicols, Mrs. C. M. Cooper, Mr. J Kclloch, Mr. Iv. Kclloch, Mr. van Stavorcn (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas, Mr. W. G. Hulston (Danncvirkel, Dr. Atmore, Mrs. J. Fisher (Otaki), and Mr. and Mrs. A. Jackson (Sydney).
