Ginger Cake.
Rub 2oz of fat into 31b flour and add Joz of ground ginger. Dissolve a teaspoonful of carbonate of soda in a teacupful of warm milk ami add lib of treacle. Moisten the dry ingredients with, this liquid, mix thoroughly, and bako in a slow oven or an hour or more.
