LADY BAILEY’S AERIAL EFFICIENCY. LONDON, Dee. %0. Lady Bailey, the first airwoman in Britain to secure a “blind flying” certificate, is now practising night flying at Croydon in order to qualify for a full commercial air pilot’s license, enabling her to pilot even giant airliners on Continental and Empire air routes.
