ENTERPRISING JOURNALIST LONDON, July 30. The “News-Chronicle”, devotes a three-line heading to an enterprising Melbournite, aged 24, who used the radiophone to apply to the paper for a job. The call occupied 0 minutes, at ic ■ ;c vvo'io tan editor, Mr Tom Clarke, from his morning slumbers in order to disclose his ambition. “It won’t be for want of trying if that .young man is not with us soon,” says the “News-Chronicle.”
