BANK ROBBED OF £2OOO
Cashier Foully Murdered
LIGHTNING RAID ON SCOTTISH BANK
United Press Association.—By Electrif Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Thursday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 13. Robert Donald, aged 24, cashier of the Radnor Park branch of the Clydesdale Bank, Glasgow, was found with his head battered in and £2OO stolen. Donald was m sole charge of the bank. The shocking injuries to his head were due to a jemmy and hammer. He died five minutes after being found. The police have no clue but believe more than one assailant made a lightning raid on the hank just as the branch closed.
