Attributed to the heavy rains experienced no less than 3D slips have occurred in the Manawatu Gorge during the past two months. Traffic has been delayed temporarily on the road during the past day or so, owing to workmen being engaged clearing away rock debris while it was also deemed necessary to dislodge a large quantity of rock at a point which was considered /dangerous and unstable,
