Before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Palmerston North. Magistrate's Court yesterday, William Dennis Quill, a labourer, aged 44 years, with no lixed place of abode, was charged with the theft of a shirt valued at 6/6, the property of Maire Cowry, draper, of Main street, Palmerston North. Accused pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, with hard labour. ,
