Marketing of Dairy Produce in Old Country
SUGGESTIONS OF CHAMEER OF COMMERCE. Recently the council of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce discussed the marketing in the Old Country of New Zealand dairy produce, Mr. Jas. Wallace having suggested that changes could be made with advantage, _ particularly in the direction of sending buttr Home in one pound pats. ■ A sub-committee was set up to go further into the matter, and of that body’s findings it was reported to yesterday afternoon’s meeting of the Chamber by the president (Mr. M. H. Oram) that it had been decided to circularise other chambers and panies, sending at the same time copies of an address recently delivered by Air. Wallace to the Lunch Club, with the object of ascertaining their views on the subject. When tho replies came to hand tho sub-committco would further diseusg the matter.
