Debtors Sued in the Magistrate's Court
YESTERDAY’S CIVIL LIST. Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., presided over yesterday’s sitting of the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court, civil cases being dealt with as usual. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefended cases : P. 11. Latham and Co. (Mr. Hutchison) v. R. Twislcton £36 2s 7d, costs £4 4s 6d; Taylor and Pointon Mr. Hutchison) v. A. Palmer £5 10s, costs £1 .10s 6d; L. W. Holland (Mr. Cooper) v. J. L. Ross £lO 10s 4d, costs £2 14s; C. W. Peach (Mr. McLeavcy) v. \Y. Rikihana £3 16s, costs £1 8s Gd; G. Hum (Mr. McLeavey) v. F. Kensington £2 16s 2d, costs £1 7s Cd; S. Thompson (Mr. Sinclair) v. E. Roos 15s, costs 8s; Hodder and Tolley (Mr. Cooper) v. E. T. Ren die £44 9s Bd, costs £4 14s Gd. Judgment Summonses. L. C. Stowe was ordered to pay C. T. Taylor and Co., Ltd. (Mr. McGregor) £52 14s 6d, in default 28 days’ imprisonment, warrant to be suspended as long as payment is made at the rate of £1 monthly. C. Cane was ordered to pay the Petrol Service Company (Mr. McLeavcy) £3 9s Id with 15s 6d costs, in default four days’ imprisonment.
