Cuba Stages Another Little War
REBELLION FOILED. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, 9.50 p.m. HAVANA (Cuba), Aug. 9. A revolutionary plot has been foiled with the arrest of seventeen Oppositionist leaders and the confiscation of the rebel arsenal after a gun battle in which three revolutionaries wore kill ed and seven policemen wounded. President Machado has declared martial law in the capital and neighbouring provinces.
