Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A moderate depression has been crossing the Dominion to-day and is being follow'cd by an extensive anticyclone. Winds: Moderate to strong northerly to -westerly freshening at times from Cook Strait southward, backing to southerly soon in the south and southerlies becoming fairly general within the next 24 hours. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough south of Cape Egmont and about Cook and Foveaux Straits, elsewhere moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong west to south winds and rather rough seas in the Eastern Tasman Sea. Weather: Unsettled and changeable with scattered showers in most districts. Temperatures cooler.
