The Prussian Socialist Government has launched a mass attack against tho Nazis plebiscite proposed to dissolve the Prussian Diet. Two thousand five hundred newspapors, under tbo recent omcrgency decree, had to print on their front pages tho Government’s manifesto declaring that tho dissolution would be inimical. President Hindenburg, annoyed at the manifesto, asked tho Government to withdraw tho decreo and also prevent tho future abuse of tho freedom of the Press. Germany at Fever Heat Received Sunday, Midnight. BERLIN, Aug. 9. Germany is at fover heat over Sunday’s plebiscite for tho dissolution of tho Prussian Diet. Twelve thousand policemen aro patrolling Berlin over the week-end and aro ordered to shoot if necessary to quell riots. Already there have been several clashes, involving bloodshed.
