The locale ot the story is the Panhandle district of lexas. The conflict that, starts the action is duo to the fact that sheep-herders have invaded this famous cattle country. Tho cowmen combine to drive the invaders out, and a merry war ensues. Young I/arrv Williams, the couufij sheriff, faces a baffling situation when Mart Bouton, son of tho richest cowman in tho district, shoots and hills one of the shcop-herders. Matters are complicated by tho fact that Mart is Larry’s best friend and the brother oi the girl ho loves. How' he settles this situation to the satisfaction of fill concerned, supplies the action for the rest of the stow. Dainty Miriam (Seegar plavs tho feminino lead opposite Buck Jones. Elie is both charming and pretty. A splendid bit of characterisation is supplied by Charles Morton m the role of Mart Denton. Others who perform with ability arc Hank Mann aud Ervilic Alderson.
