The fortnightly dance to assist the Takaro Church Hall funds and held in the Takaro Hall on Tuesday evening, was a very jolly affair, despite the threatening weather there being a largo attendance. Music tor dancing was provided by Mr A. Bonnor (piano) and Mr W. Inkpen (violin), extra dances being contributed by Mr C. Penny. The winners of a “Monte Carlo” dance wore Mrs. Dunstan and Mr Bcvan. Mr C. Bevan proved a very efficient M.C. and the usual dainty supper was provided during the evening.
