Mrs. H. Sinclair, president of the Y.W.C.A., welcomed the girls to the club rooms and assured them of the genuine desire of the association to assist them in securing employment. She urged those present to make use of the bureau and to bring others along who might be in need of friendly holp, afterwards placi tho reading rooms at the disposal of those present.
Work has been offered in a small degree but the secretary, Miss C. Ashton, is anxious for further support from the women of the district. Domestic work by the hour or day and sewing and mending arc most needed at the moment.
