Unfavourable weather conditions marred the day’s shooting as it was intended to shoot for the belt and to complete the Dermcr Cup competition at fiOO yards. Owing to heavy rain for some time it was decided to complete the shoot for the Dermer Cup only. Tlio winner of the cup proved to bo Mr. J. H. Williamson with Mr. R. Stuart runner up. Tho scores were:— l

Tho Bolt. Next Saturday it is hoped to shoot for the belt when shooting will commence at 11 a.m. On August 15 a return match will bo fixed with Kimbolton. The belt has not been fired for since 1910. It was donated t.o the old club in 190fi by tho Jato Mr. John Bruce and the late Mr. James Barrow, tho then president and captain respectively. The winners have been as follow: 190 GR. Barrow, 1907 R. Taylor, 1908 E. Litton, 1909 O. Pusscll, 1910 A.’ V. Barrow.

As a third target has been erected it is hoped to complete tho shoot wellbcfore the light begins to fade.
