Britain is still building more than two-thirds of the world’s shipping; out of 637 vessels, with a total tonnage of 1,807,516, produced during a recent twelve months, British yards built 430 vessels, with a tonnage of 1,210,597. Fine clothes may not make tho woman, but they certainly unmake the husband.
