Three Months for Exhibiting Indecent Photos
MAGISTRATE’S SCATHING DENUNCIATION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. After administering a scathing denunciation to Stephen Francis Llewellyn Ncary, aged 32, 'a labourer, Magistrate W. 11. Woodward sent him to prison for'threo months on a charge of exhibiting, indecent photos in Queen strefct. Counsel said Ncary was so hard up he was trying to sell the pictures for Is 6d apiece. The Magistrate said Ncary fostered a hidden malignancy by putting into tho hands of unprincipled persons for tho sake of a few pence filthy and disgusting pictures that would undermine the innocence of girls and tho virtue of women.
