I-lAYTHORNB CUP. MEETING OP DELEGATES
The annual meeting of delegates for the Oroua tennis clubs was held_ at Rangiwahia on Wednesday evening, there being present Messrs Morgan and Fankhauser (Rangiwahia), MeNao and Churchill (Apiti), and Walker and Waugh (Kimbolton). Messrs McNae and Churchill were elected president and secretary for the season. Mr McNae expressed regret that the minutes of the last meeting were not available and Mr Walker was instructed to try to procure them. The meeting then proceeded to make the draw for the Haythorne competition, fixtures being as follows. -Febru ary 7th, Apiti v. Rangiwahia, at Apiti, February 14th, Apiti v. Kimbolton at Kimbolton; February 21st, Ivml^ ton v Ra.noiwahia, at Rangiwahia, Febru aiy 28th, Apiti v. Rangiwahia, at Rangiwahia; March 7th, Apiti v. Kimbolton, at Apiti; March 14th Kimbolton v. Rangiwahia, at Kimbolton. 'Club secretaries wore askea to their best to ensure that matches commence punctually at 10 a.m. Social and General. Mr Laurie Gould, of Wanganui, is spending a week in Apiti as the gues of Mr and Mrs Neville Gould. Tho final of the ladies’ handicap singles was played on Thursday, when Mrs A. H. McNae defeated Mrs J. Cantwell
