A Domestic Who Forgot to Remove the Dust
AND SHERLOCK HOLMES CATCHES HER, Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Last Night. What was- described by the police as a deliberated framed-up burglary had its sequel in the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon when Pearl Audrey Bound, aged 21 years, a married domestic, was charged with the theft, of 15s front her employer. She pleaded guilty. It was shown that accused placed a plank against a window and bored a holo in the window sash to give it the appearance of having been forced. The dust on the window sill, however, was undisturbed. Accused when interrogated admitted the theft. Sentence was postponed.
